By using Local Review Club, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before joining or using our services.

What Local Review Club Is

Local Review Club is a private, non-profit community of verified local business owners. Members interact with each other's businesses as genuine customers. After experiencing a service, members may choose to leave an honest review on Google, Yelp, or other platforms. There is no obligation to leave a review, and no direction is given on what to write or what rating to give.

Membership

Eligibility

Membership is open to legitimate local business owners in the United States. All members and businesses are verified before access is granted.

Invitation only

Local Review Club is invitation-only. You must be referred by an existing member or accepted from the waitlist.

Annual fee

Membership costs $99 per year. Local Review Club is a non-profit community initiative — the fee covers operating costs only.

Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time. No refunds are provided for partial years.

Community Standards

Honest reviews only

All reviews must reflect your genuine experience with the business. You must actually use or experience the service before writing a review. Fake reviews, exaggerated claims, or reviews for services you did not experience are strictly prohibited.

No review manipulation

Members may not ask other members for specific ratings, dictate review content, offer incentives for positive reviews, or retaliate against negative reviews. Every review is voluntary and written in the reviewer's own words.

Real interactions

All service interactions between members must be genuine. Members must engage with the business as a real customer — whether that's a consultation, a discovery call, a visit, or a community-rate session.

Compliance

Members must comply with Google's review policies, Yelp's terms of service, and all applicable laws including the FTC's Final Rule on fake reviews (16 CFR Part 465). Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of membership.

Prohibited Conduct

Members may not: write reviews for businesses they did not actually experience, create fake accounts or use third-party accounts to leave reviews, offer or accept payment for reviews beyond the standard membership fee, harass or threaten other members, use automated tools to generate reviews, or misrepresent their business or identity.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate any membership that violates these terms, community standards, or applicable laws. Terminated members are not entitled to refunds.

Limitation of Liability

Local Review Club facilitates connections between business owners but does not guarantee any specific number of reviews, ratings, or business outcomes. We are not responsible for the content of reviews written by members. Each member is individually responsible for their own reviews and compliance with platform policies and laws.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Members will be notified of material changes via email. Continued membership after changes constitutes acceptance.
